What You’ll Do

The Packaging Operator performs routine packaging assembly and cartoning operations to support commercial product demand while ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements, quality standards, and established procedures. In this role, you develop foundational knowledge of packaging operations, controlled environments, and manufacturing best practices within a regulated environment.

How You’ll Contribute

• Perform routine manual and automated packaging and cartoning activities in accordance with cGMP requirements and approved procedures.

• Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance.

• Complete room sanitization activities to maintain controlled environmental conditions and support manufacturing operations.

• Identify and report procedural deviations, nonconformances, and operational issues to management in a timely manner.

• Maintain current training requirements, including read-and-understood assignments, skills development activities, and classroom training.

• Support workplace organization and operational efficiency through the application of basic 5S principles.

• Adhere to all safety, quality, and compliance requirements while performing assigned duties.

• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

What It Takes

This position performs routine packaging and cartoning activities in a regulated manufacturing environment where adherence to safety procedures, cGMP requirements, and established work instructions is essential. The role works under close supervision and receives detailed instructions on assignments while developing proficiency in packaging operations, compliance requirements, and manufacturing best practices. Success in this role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality and continuous learning.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or other regulated environment.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Ability to follow written procedures and detailed work instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support operational requirements.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.

• Familiarity with cGMP requirements and controlled manufacturing environments.

• Experience performing packaging, assembly, or production operations.

• Basic understanding of 5S or continuous improvement methodologies.

• Experience working effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

The salary range provided is based on the Company’s reasonable estimate of the base salary pay range for this position at the time of posting. Actual base pay is determined by several factors relevant to the position, including skills, competencies, experience, education, and geographic location.
