Marketing Coordinator

Location: Franklin, MA | Remote

Position Scope:

The Marketing Coordinator will work directly for the Marketing Operations Manager to support a broad range of strategic event and project level responsibilities across the Commercial Marketing Team. Invested in becoming a subject matter expert on event related execution, digital communications, and overall marketing operations; actively drives toward higher level of expertise in these capabilities. Crosses over to assist with sales education and medical education activities as needed. Committed to developing product and procedural knowledge.

Works with Marketing Operations Team to execute targeted strategies and tactical plans. Aligns with broader marketing and business initiative and works through the Marketing Operations Team to support Sales and Product Strategy Managers for collaborative execution of tactical plans. Takes active ownership of key deliverables and is accountable for successful execution.  

Specific Tactical Responsibilities:

  • Manage the support/review process for new materials
  • Support digital marketing efforts, including but not limited to:
    • Organizing database contact information and campaign creation/deployment
    • Find a doctor update
    • App user audit: cross-check with distributor roster update
    • App content audit: add tags, flag duplicate content, etc.
    • Website and social media campaign activities as needed
    • Conference lead tracking: case output for conference leads of 2022
    • Video editing
      • Replace openers/closers
      • Create new videos for tradeshows
  • Liaison for marketing requests: such as, manage distributor, customer, internal requests for literature and materials
    • Supplier Request Forms
    • Literature Order Form updates as needed
      • Literature orders; third party vendor communications
  • Organization of marketing drive/files (repackaging files) – master excel literature file updates
  • Enter, track, and manage Purchase Orders in SAP
  • Support planning, coordination and execution of Marketing and Sales events (i.e. annual sales meeting and industry tradeshows/congresses)
  • Initiate, manage and support Master Control routing for Arthro/Sports/Regen marketing materials
  • Provide support to coordinate stakeholder functions as needed, such as
    • Employee gift events
    • Swag store management
  • Provide on-site support in Franklin office including physical packing and shipping of supplies, literature, instrument trays, product samples, and other items as needed; receiving in and managing physical storage of related materials
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or the life sciences or equivalent experience in an entry level marketing role
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an office environment, preferably a publicly traded company; orthopedics a plus

  • Ability to work with significant autonomy
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail required as is the ability to effectively manage time and multiple projects, at time sunder tight deadlines.
  • Analytical thinking with previous data analytics and/or marketing experience
  • Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Proficiency working with WordPress, Survey Monkey, Google Forms, SAP and Master Control desired
  • Professional personal and remote presentation
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams
  • Domestic travel as needed; ~ 1 trip per quarter
